Designed for height and surround duties in Dolby Atmos layouts, the ALTECO C-1 can be angled towards the listening seats or used as a conventional surround. Its two-way arrangement pairs a 21 mm soft dome tweeter with a wood fibre cone, crossing at 2,100 Hz.

Response is quoted from 74 Hz to 26 kHz, with 103 dB maximum SPL. Sensitivity of 83 dB into 6 ohms asks for a reasonably capable amplifier; 40 to 100 W is recommended.
