Klipsch powered subs rate highly among Crutchfield customers for their deep, powerful bass. Now Klipsch has designed a series of subwoofers to go along with their performance-oriented Reference Premiere speaker lineup, and they're some of the best subs Klipsch has ever made. The RP-1600SW sits atop this impressive new lineup, weighing in at a solid 110 lbs. (You might want to have a friend on hand when you're unboxing and setting it up.)
Top-of-the-line performance
This sub's beefy 16" Cerametallic™ woofer, powerful 800-watt Class D amplifier, and acoustically optimized front-firing Aerofoil slot port team up for bass that's simply huge. Enjoy thunderous effects with movie soundtracks and smooth, accurate low-frequency extension with your favorite music.
Thoughtful design touches
The RP-1600SW and other Reference Premiere subs feature hefty, well-constructed cabinets with rounded corners, built-in vibration-isolating feet, and a scratch-resistant ebony vinyl finish that looks like real wood. Add the optional WA-2 wireless kit for maximum placement flexibility. That allows you to place the sub anywhere within easy reach of an AC outlet and connect it to your receiver or amp wirelessly.
